Im Inneren des DT390 arbeitet Intels energieeffiziente ATOM Prozessor Z530 mit 1,6 GHz aus der besonders sparsamen Embedded Serie. Das lichtstarke (350 cd/m²) 8,9 Zoll (22,6 cm) große LED-Display mit 1024 x 600 Bildpunkten, gewährleistet sogar bei Sonneneinstrahlung beste Ablesbarkeit. Mithilfe des resistiven Touchscreens lässt es sich bequem und schnell per Finger oder Stift bedienen. Eine Vielzahl an Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten wie Barcode- und RFID Scanner oder GPS- und 3G-Modul (HSDPA) empfehlen ihn für diverse Tätigkeiten im industriellen wie auch im Outdoor Bereich und bietet Unternehmen zahlreiche Vorteile:
