Modular Thin Platform for Embedded Applications

Geringe Abmessungen und lüfterloser, leiser Betrieb sind die ganz besonderen Kennzeichen eines miniPC 105 oder miniPC 105s. Der stromsparende x86-Prozessor AMD Geode LX-800 ermöglicht den geringen Stromverbrauch von 5 - 10 Watt. Über die Stromkostenersparnis gegenüber einem Standard-PC amortisiert sich die Anschaffung innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Die Bauweise ohne Lüfter und die geringe Leistungsaufnahme gestatten auch den Einbau eines minPC 105/105s in ein Rack ohne aktive Belüftung. Ein robustes Aluminiumgehäuse und zahlreiche Schnittstellen, zusätzlich 2x seriell und 1x parallel beim miniPC 105s, empfehlen ihn besonders für die harte industrielle Umgebung. Konfiguriert mit Windows XPembedded oder Windows XP Professional kann er über LAN auch fernverwaltet werden. (XP-/BIOS-Updates, Booten, Recovery, Ein/Aus etc.).
